Home > SilverCloud Target Trials > Commercialisation
This work-package focuses on using project findings to develop a commercial strategy that will help increase the use of SilverCloud within the NHS and beyond. This involves understanding the barriers that currently exist and creating a strong case for why the NHS should use SilverCloud more widely.
This work will connect with other parts of the project that focus on translating our findings into commercial insights. We will then employ these insights to expand SilverCloud's use within existing services and encourage services not currently using digital interventions for depression and anxiety to adopt SilverCloud.
To identify the barriers preventing NHS talking therapy services from using SilverCloud and leverage this understanding to promote its wider use.
To build a comprehensive business case for NHS commissioning, explaining why adopting SilverCloud makes sense from an organisational and clinical perspective.
To share knowledge that will help with the future assessment and adoption of other digital health technologies.
Knowledge sharing: The commercial team at Amwell and the Hardian team will collaborate and share insights to lay the groundwork for this study.
Desk research: We will conduct thorough background research, including an analysis of the NHS market, clinical pathways, pricing and reimbursement models, competitors, and general market trends including opportunities for growth within NHS services.
Stakeholder interviews: We will interview key stakeholders from the NHS including commissioners, clinicians and current users of SilverCloud. This will help us confirm the findings from our background research and give us more information about unmet needs and challenges in adopting SilverCloud, as well as its benefits, to help us create a clear and distinct explanation of its value.
Developing the business case: Using the information we gather, we will create a document that highlights the organisational and clinical advantages of using digital interventions for depression and anxiety within the NHS. This business case will cover both financial and operational aspects to make it compelling for NHS decision-makers.
