Overview

Thomas is a Wellcome Trust-funded PhD student in Public Health Economics and Decision Science at the University of Sheffield. His research leverages causal machine learning methods to estimate the heterogeneous treatment effects of different NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression intervention modalities across relevant subgroups (to be determined later). His work aims to strengthen health technology assessments by better accounting for health inequalities.
